Cookie Policy
Effective from 2026-09-22
This page explains what AI First Matrix stores in your browser and why. It is written to satisfy chapter 9, section 28 of the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (LEK 2022:482) and article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, which require consent for storing information on your device unless it is strictly necessary for a service you have asked for.
We use no tracking or advertising cookies
There is no advertising pixel, no social-media plug-in and no third-party tracker on this site. Fonts are served from our own servers, not from a font provider. Because everything we store is strictly necessary for the function you are using, we do not show a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Page views are counted with Plausible
To see which pages are read, we use Plausible Analytics, a service run by Plausible Insights OÜ in the EU. It sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser, and it does not use any identifier to recognise you between visits or across sites. It records the page, the referrer, the country and the browser type of a visit; your IP address is used only to derive the country and a daily, non-reversible hash and is not stored. Because no information is stored on or read from your device, chapter 9, section 28 of LEK and article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive do not require consent for it. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle the resulting statistics.
What is stored, and when
Public pages (home, Quick Scan, Opportunity Map, Pulse links, legal pages)
No cookies are set. The Quick Scan and the Opportunity Map save your entries in your browser's local storage, so that they are still there when you come back. This happens only when you use those tools and is the function you asked for. The data never leaves your browser unless you press the button to contribute an anonymous Quick Scan result, and it can be removed at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser.
A Workforce Pulse link stores nothing in the respondent's browser.
Signed-in areas (assessor workspace and admin console)
When an assessor or administrator signs in, our sign-in provider Clerk sets cookies that keep them signed in and protect the sign-in from forgery:
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
__session | The signed-in session token | Until the session ends or expires |
__client_uat | When the session was last confirmed, so the page knows whether to check with the sign-in service | Until sign-out |
__clerk_db_jwt and similar __clerk_* cookies | Carrying the sign-in state through the sign-in flow itself | Short-lived |
These are strictly necessary for the sign-in that the person has requested and are set only on the sign-in pages and in the signed-in areas. Visitors to the public pages never receive them.
Changing your settings
You can delete stored data or block storage entirely in your browser's settings. Blocking local storage means the Quick Scan will not remember your answers between visits; blocking cookies means assessors cannot sign in.
If this changes
If we ever add a tool that stores information on your device and is not strictly necessary, we will ask for consent before it is loaded and update this page. The version in force is published here with its effective date.
